Lock or unlock an object
The column under the Lock all/Unlock all
button indicates whether an object on the artboard is locked. When the lock
button is visible in the row that corresponds to an object, then the object and
all of its child elements are locked.
- To lock an object, click the lock
button in the same row as the object.
- To unlock a locked object, click the dot
button in the same row as the object.

You cannot select or modify an object on the artboard when it is locked. Also, you cannot add keyframes to an animation timeline that modifies a locked object. |
